Auto Responder Fallbacks

Lead Page Generator will always send leads to at least one of your auto responders after a form submission.  This is called a fallback.  If you have selected an auto responder and checked the “use this as my default auto responder” checkbox, your data will always be sent there if no conditions are met.  This is called a TRUE fallback.  If you did NOT check the “use this as my default auto responder” checkbox, ALL data will be sent to the first auto responder you created unless a condition is met.   This is called a FALSE fallback.

There is a problem with using a FALSE fallback.  This is explained below:

Let’s say you have two auto responders - each auto responder having their own set of conditions.  If none of these conditions are met during a form submission, Lead Page Generator will send this data to your FALSE fallback auto responder as if a condition was met.

To fix the problem above, a third auto responder should be created and set without any conditions, thus creating a TRUE fallback.  This way, when both conditions fail, the data will be sent to your TRUE fallback.

Why do we do this?  Lead Page Generator knows how important your leads are.  Using this method, we insure that no matter what happens, none of your leads will be lost.

So, to sum things up - to prevent your auto responders from being filled up with data not true to the conditions you set, create a TRUE fallback.
